What a lovely sound to wake up to in the morning. It is so peaceful this early in the morning. Well off to drive in the fog and see if I can find the road. --------------That was a sight, got half way to work and saw the sliver of the moon trying to break through the fog.

I don't recall hearing foghorns like I have this last week in the night....really strange.
I usually have my fan running at night but since K's broken leg, I've had it off and the first night I heard them last week, I must admit, I was up with the radio and tv trying to figure out if there was an emergency going on and that was an official alarm or something. At about 7 am KLOG finally announced that the foghorns had been going all night because of fog! I was not happy I lost all that sleep!
I know, I'm a dork!
My husband heard them during the night. He commented on what a lonely sound foghorns have.
